Australian Team for Junior Road Cycling World Championships

 

Cycling Australia today confirmed the Australian road team to contest the Junior World Championships to be staged in Capetown, South Africa from 12 to 20 July 2008.

  • Michael Freiberg (Dianella, WA 10.10.1990)
  • Michael Hepburn (Brookfield, QLD 17.09.1991)
  • Alastair Loutit (O'Connor, ACT 20.02.1990)
  • Michael Matthews (Farrer, ACT 26.09.1990)

Freiberg, Hepburn, Loutit and Matthews will travel to Europe in late June for a number of races after which selectors will nominate the starting riders for the road race and time trial in South Africa. Dennis will join the track team training camp and has been selected in the road team to contest the time trial only.
