Please contact the CNSW office immediately if your name does not appear in the team start list.

Note: This event is electronically timed. All riders will need a transponder bracket affixed to their front fork. Brackets can be purchased from sign-on at $2.50 each.

Team Entry Fee: $30 per U17 team and $60 for all others please contact Cycling NSW with your nominated riders by Monday 6th June 2011.

Elite Women�s Teams: JW19 riders will compete in the Elite Women�s Championship. Teams are allowed to have both Elite Women and JW19 riders. If there are insufficient WMAS teams to form a separate Championship, all WMAS teams will compete in the Elite Women Championship.

Distances: Listed distances and start times are approximate only. Final start times will be posted on CNSW website in the week leading into the Championships.

Registration: To minimise confusion on the day, only Team Managers will need to present at the sign-on desk. Managers will need to

            1. Collect their team form from the sign-on desk

      2.  Indicate from the nominated rider which 4 riders will be starting for the team

       3. Get each of the 4 starting riders to sign the form and collect each of their licences

      4. Submit the form to the sign-on desk with the 4 valid licences at least 30 minutes before the team�s start time.

      5. Team Manager will them be allocated 4 transponder tags and race numbers. (Managers that have not returned all tags by the end of the event will be billed $30 replacement fee per tag)

Note: Incomplete forms will not be accepted. Once the form is lodged, changes will not be accepted.

Results: Times will be based on the third rider to cross the line for that team. Results will be posted on a notice board away from the finish line. Do not approach the timing team seeking results.

NSW Road Series: No Road Series points will be on offer for this event.

NSW Cyclist Of The Year Points: Points will be on offer for all championships including both MMAS Championships. If there are insufficient WMAS teams to form a championship, WMAS teams will ride in the Elite Women�s Championship and be eligible for Elite Women�s points only.

CNSW Technical Regulation 64 - NSW CLUB ROAD TEAMS TIME TRIAL CHAMPIONSHIP

Riders and Clubs

64a.5 � Championships are open to all affiliated clubs of CNSW.

64a.10 � Each rider must be an affiliated financial member of the club that they represent and must have not competed on behalf of any other club during the current road season (since 1^st April).

64a.11 � Members must be financial with their represented club and CNSW two calendar months prior to the event and must produce their Race Licence at the event (Receipts of membership application will not be accepted)

53.b.vi � Competitors must wear their Club registered colours or Team sponsored colours as endorsed by their Club and CNSW.

Masters

64.1/64.2 � Clubs may enter Masters teams in the following Championship Divisions:

- MMAS All Ages Division (no age restriction)

- MMAS 150+ Division (minimum cumulative age of the three youngest Masters riders is 150 years)

Additional: a WMAS Championships may be held should there be enough team entries to form a Championship (64a.6).

Teams and Nominations

64a.1.a � A rider can only ride for one team per Championship and cannot ride in more than one category.

64a.2 � A rider may nominate for more than one team but cannot ride for more than one team.

64a.12 � Up to six (6) names may be nominated with each team entry from which a maximum of four (4) will start in that team on the day.

Additional: The 4 riders to start for the team must be officially submitted at least 30 minutes before that team�s designated start time.

Rules

64.a.21 � A late team may not commence from a flying start and cannot start within 10 seconds of another team. The late team�s time commences from the original start time.

64.a.23 � Competitors shall carry all of their own food and drink requirements. Outside feeding from persons on the course or from team support is forbidden and risks disqualification.

64.a.24 � A team overtaking another shall pass on the right side leaving at least 2 metres between the teams. The overtaken team must not impeded the progress of the overtaking team.

64.a.25 � In no case may a team take pace behind another team, remaining at least 25 metres behind until ready to overtake.

64.a.26 � A competitor that has been dropped by his/her team cannot rejoin it by waiting for the team�s arrival on the next leg or assist in any way another team.

Support Vehicles

64.b.2 � Each occupant within the support vehicle must be a financially affiliated member of CA. The driver must be in possession of a current Driver�s licence.

64.b.3 � Each support vehicle must be fitted with a roof-mounted flashing rotating yellow light. RTA requirement

64.b.4 � Each support vehicle must be fitted with a securely rear-mounted sign �Caution Cyclists Ahead� in 120mm High Black letters on yellow or orange background. The sign must be clearly visible from a distance of 50 metres. RTA requirement

64.b.6 � Vehicle must not draw level with a team and must remain at least 20 metres the team or third rider thereof, should he/she have lagged behind.

� At no time is any team member permitted to take pace from a support vehicle.

 �  In an team overtaking situation, as soon as the distance between the two teams drops below 50 metres, the overtaken team�s car will need to fall back behind the support vehicle of the overtaking team.

Additional: No other vehicles will be allowed in the race convoy.

Note: Due to the number of teams entered, CNSW will not be supplying any lights or signs to any clubs.
